Wast of Money

Used it once, worked great! We disconnected and washed the probes only as instructed. The 2nd and 3rd times the base unit was not functioning, threw out error messages. It is a waste of money. Agree with other reviews, we should have purchased something more expensive.

Regret buying it.

Used it twice with no issues on smoking brisket, one probe died on third cook. Waste of money. Disappointed becuase I've been impressed by Vida products in the past. Best to just check based on time using a normal thermometer to see if your brisket has hit the stall yet.

Should have paid a little more and opted for one that is truly wireless as the probes are still tethered to the base.

Not worth the money

Used it once, worked good. Cleaned it and put it away. Went to use it again and part way through the cooking both probe read error. Removed the probes and checked with digital multimeter and resistances read good but when plugged into unit still read error.

Handy and Helpful

Works very nicely except for a few moments where the temperature of one of the probes would not show up; a few fiddles later I had it working again. Fun to work with when doing a large roast.
