Care Instructions
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Before first use, wash in warm water with mild detergent
  • When washing by hand, wash in warm, soapy water using a soft sponge to remove any debris or leftover food
  • Rinse and dry thoroughly by rolling in a clean, dry kitchen towel
  • The mats can handle burned and baked on foods, simply wipe off with a soft cloth

Work as designed, but can't get past the smell!

We've used these mats several times over the four months since we purchased them. They work as designed, but even after all this time give off an unpleasant burning plastic smell. This is the case with all three sizes, despite multiple uses and being run through the dishwasher multiple times. I'm quite disappointed because I much prefer the idea of a reliable item vs a disposable one, but the hot plastic odor is so bad it overpowers pleasant cooking and baking smells.
