Goodish

Makes an OK pizza. The stone doesn't get hot enough for Neapolitan style. Bottom is always undercooked compared to the top. Even if you turn it down as low as it will go after launching. Not bad, not great...

I didn't think that a pizza oven would make such a massive difference in the quality of pizza I could make at home. The pizza is absolutely next-level. Such an upgrade. You'll never order takeout again. One item I would caution is that the crust recipe is key. Make sure you try different recipes that work for you with the thickness you like. Forget about gluten-free. It's a nasty mess made for another oven. Another consideration is the warm-up time. You'll need around 45 minutes to make sure the stone on the bottom is sufficiently heated. This is the same with all ovens and even oven stones but as a beginner, you may just want to crank up the oven and throw in a pizza - this will be a mistake. An advantage with this model is the Lazy Susan stone. I thought it was a gadget that wasn't going to be of much use but it's an excellent feature. Without this option you will have to keep removing and inserting your pizza to ensure it cooks on all sides. I can't imagine not having the rotation feature now. Seems to work well except for one major flaw

I liked this pizza oven and had the Lazy Susan worked properly it would have received a higher rating by me. I thought the idea of having a simple mechanism to turn the pizza while cooking was great. And it worked well for only two times we used it and then the knob used to turn the pizza stone locked up. It turned OK when cold but not when cooking. We followed all the cooking instructions exactly but still the mechanism locked.
A few others have noted this as well. One other reviewer provided a photo of the turning gears and they appear to be melted.
I have returned my machine to Canadian Tire.
To Paderno: If you fix this flaw, please let me know when you have corrected it and I might try again. To others who are considering buying, I suggest you check with Paderno to see if this has been corrected.

Très bon résultat

Tout est bien avec ce four.
Table pivotante, tiroir pour fumée nos cuissons. Mais j’aurais aimé avoir l’option d’une porte avant amovible pour monter en température l’intérieur et le centre de la pierre. De mon côté il atteint max 825-850 après 15-20 min
