2-Cup Glass Food Storage Set

Bought these today from Canadian Tire. We cannot get the lids off. I even tried to pry one with a knife.
They appear to be an excellent product. We have other Paderno products which are excellent. But, are useless if we cannot open them.
We are returning them.

Lid hard to open

Lids are very hard to open. Unless there is a trick to open easily, I dont recommend.

Not quite up to par

Not sure how long the plastic lids will last, one broke already but the price was good

Lids hard to remove

Lids are very difficult to remove. Has anyone figured out how to remove them more easily?
