Good quality but cups are too wide & shallow

Good quality, but I find the cups a little too wide and shallow. Muffins don't seem able to rise as well, even if I add extra baking powder & try all the tricks for making muffins rise higher. Perhaps the non-stick material is just a little TOO good and they can't climb the sides. I got non-stick so I woudn't have to use paper muffin cups, but even using the paper cups, I find the muffins too short and squat. Will be looking for a pan with narrower, deeper cups like my old ones.
