So inaccurate it will break your heart. Keep walking by this aisle!

I purchased this today (Jan 26/2024) and I was super excited to bring it home and use it. It was not accurate at all and when I started testing the temperatures it became less and less accurate. The probe would not read past 0C although it says it goes to -29C and the IR was reading 2x the temperature that my oven was heating at. I took the IR outside and hit the exact same spot multiple times and it changed to a different temperature each time. This will be returned immediately.
