Grille-pain numérique à 2 tranches

We bought this toaster to set up a breakfast area for a long term guest we had and then moved it upstairs to the kitchen and threw away our old toaster. I really regret throwing away the old toaster. The toaster isn’t too bad for my sprouted grain nutty seedy bread, but the lowest setting almost burns my husband’s light rye bread. I have to freeze his bread and toast it frozen to get a light brown toast. I’ve also noticed that the bread always curves to the right in the toaster. It would appear that the right side of both slots is hotter than the left. To fix the problem, I have to take the toast out half way through the toasting time and flip the pieces around. It’s a good looking toaster, but a big disappointment. My next toaster will be a Black and Decker.

La fonction bagel, cuit les deux cts des bagels au dbut et, un certain moment, il arrte de cuire lextrieur et continue cuire lintrieur.

Working OK after two weeks - actually toasts the first round, unlike the last toaster.

This toaster works fine to evenly toast bread and bagels, although the highest settings will result in perfectly burnt black toast and a blaring smoke alarm. Fine enough to use the lower settings. When cycle completes the toast practically jumps out of the toaster, the release is very strong. Overall works well. I took off one star because it is overly wide and I assumed the extra width was to keep the unit cool, but it is not. The outside of the toaster gets hot with just one cycle on low setting. Not suitable for children's use and we move it away from the wall until it has thoroughly cooled.

Love the fact it's easy to clean crumbs. Toast well.
